Disney+ and National Geographic will premiere on 4 December Superstructures: Real Madrid Super Stadium, a documentary that takes a step-by-step look at the construction and total remodelling of our stadium. The new stadium design features a state-of-the-art wraparound metal façade, retractable roof, 360-degree video scoreboard and a large logistical ring.

The documentary showcases in detail the major innovation of the new Bernabéu: the storage of the playing field underground to convert it into a multifunctional space. An architectural and engineering milestone never before put into practice, with the added challenge of the team continuing to play its matches with the stadium under construction. Spanning five years, this extraordinary construction challenge is an unprecedented undertaking, pushing the boundaries of innovation and resilience, and securing the club's legacy for generations to come.

Superstructures: Real Madrid Super Stadium unravels the secrets behind this transformation with testimonials from president Florentino Pérez, and some of the experts who have been involved. As well as the challenges of a remodelling of this magnitude, it also includes overcoming setbacks such as the COVID-19 pandemic and one of the biggest snowfalls in the city's history, in 2021.

Superstructures: Real Madrid Super Stadium premieres on 4 December on Disney+ and the same day at 10:50pm CET on the National Geographic Channel.
