Dolphins - Commanders on November 16, 2025

The National Football League (NFL) announced today that the Madrid Game will be played on 16 November 2025 between the Miami Dolphins and the Washington Commanders at the Bernabéu. The game will start at 3:30 pm (CEST).

"We are delighted to welcome the Washington Commanders to Spain for our first NFL regular season game in Madrid, such an amazing city," said NFL Director of Europe and Asia-Pacific Brett Gosper. "This historic matchup between the Miami Dolphins and Washington Commanders continues to showcase the league's commitment to the growth of the sport worldwide, and we look forward to sharing this landmark showdown at the Bernabeu, Real Madrid's world-class home stadium, with fans from across Spain and around the world."

Meanwhile, the local authorities have stressed the importance of this game for the city and have welcomed the choice by the NFL of the Bernabeu as the venue for the first NFL regular season game in Spain as it is an iconic landmark of Madrid and an emblematic place for the sport on a global level.

“With the first NFL game being held in Spain in 2025 at the world's best sports stadium - the Bernabéu - Madrid is consolidating its position as the best place to host major international sporting events,” said Isabel Díaz Ayuso, President of the Regional Government of Madrid. For his part, José Luis Martínez-Almeida, Mayor of the city, stated that “This game at the Bernabéu is one more example of the attraction that our city has. The NFL is one of the greatest spectacles in the world and once again Madrid will demonstrate that it is ready to host this huge sporting event.”
